Microsoft V Apple V Linux

 

The So called Old Story

 

Lets be serious, all you so called technicians’, Gurus and Systems Administrators of the world

Microsoft is your friend.

For several years you have ridden on the back of The Almighty giant, I too as a Systems administrator in a government department in Perth Western Australia, also, have provided for my family using the resources, problems and politics of Microsoft related  products.

I don’t expect anyone to admit either way if they live in the Microsoft camp, the apple camp or the linux camp, we all work with these environments to varying degrees, but you should be passionate about were your  income stream is generated, it just makes good sense.

 

William Shakespeare was a brilliant man, (yes Americans he was English, and never even spoke to Leonardo Dicaprio) Lived many years ago in ENGLAND. This mans works will forever be regarded as excellent literature. A Portrayal of morality justice and, savagery. A mix of emotions is depicted in his writings. Yet he lived before any other of our other bards’. He represents Microsoft and our Bill…

William Shakespeare wrote literature, it will be remembered forever, he was not the first he was not the last to write in his chosen style, but he was talented. Whether you love his work or hate it, you have heard about it, you’ve most likely pretended to read to either impress a girl or gain grades at school.

 

Thomas harding, we may have heard of him, an excellent writer from America, many of you may recall some works, but you don’t hate him, you just simply, never really got involved, yet Thomas (Or Apple) is still a great read, his works are brilliant thought provoking and quite possibly just as good as Bills, if not dare I say it, a little better and more relevant. But the Apples not going to keep you employed as much, entertained and content, for it is and never shall be a Shakespeare.

 

Linux, like the Britney spears song goes, Oops I did it again, I played with your heart and brought out another 50 versions of the same damn operating system and pretended Linus was our friend while stabbing him in the back, (You want a piece of meat ((ME) Britney 2008)) Britney represents Linux very Well, wed all love to use it… Umm hang on that’s not were I was going with that. Seriously though, the songs are catchy, its not Harding or Shakespeare, but its entertaining and you might just rock away with a song or two up loud in the car when no-ones around, but it is never in the near future going to provide you with a useful income stream, and your never going to enjoy that First person shooter or RPG on the Linux platform

 

Bill is your friend guys, he always will be, Thomas is a hard read, he will mess with your head, and Britney, well there are certainly worse types of music out there (BSD anyone???) Please lets all stop shouting and do our work, lets appreciate the works of the almighty bill, compliment the musings of old Thomas and forever remember Britney in that red hat (Red hot sorry) jump suit, OOPS I Did it again… Thank you
